Prof. So Young Kim

Director of the Korea Policy Center for the Fourth Industrial Revolution (KPC4IR) and the Project Coordinator of the Project for the Establishment of Kenya Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (Kenya-AIST) at KAIST in South Korea. She has held various positions on and off campus including the Head of the Graduate School of Science & Technology Policy, Co-Representative of the Citizens Coalition for Scientific Society, Chairperson of the Spent Nuclear Fuel Policy Committee Chairperson (Ministry of Industry, Trade and Energy), and Director of the Policy Institute of the Korea Federation of Women’s S&T Associations (KOFWST). Her work has been recognized by various awards including the National Assembly Award for the Contribution to S&T Policy.
