Dionne Jackson Miller is a Ph.D. student in the Faculty of Law at the University of the West Indies, Mona. Her research project focuses on the work of Jamaica’s Access to Information Appeal Tribunal. She is an attorney-at-law, with an LL.M. in Human Rights Law and a post-graduate certificate in Media Law, both from the University of London. She is also a journalist with over 20 years experience in media. She hosts a daily current affairs programme “Beyond the Headlines” on Radio Jamaica and a weekly current affairs programme “All Angles” on Television Jamaica
She is a two-time Press Association of Jamaica Journalist of the Year, served two terms as President of the Press Association of Jamaica, and continues to serve on the Association’s Executive. She is also Vice President of the Morant Bay High School Alumni Association, and a member of the Jamaican Bar Association.
