Dr. Fu Haizheng is the Executive Dean of the Research Institute on Information and Communication Accessibility at the Communication University of China and an Executive Council Member of the China Association of Volunteers for Persons with Disabilities.
For over eight years, he has been devoted to producing accessible films for the visually impaired and co-founded Guangming Cinema, a public welfare initiative that has benefited more than ten million blind and visually impaired individuals across China. He has collaborated in the development of five national and industry standards for accessible films and played a key role in promoting the domestic legislation and implementation of the Marrakesh Treaty, the world’s only human rights treaty in the field of copyright.
