Dr. Giulia Ajmone Marsan is a strategist and ecosystem builder specializing in innovation, technology and entrepreneurship, with extensive experience in economic analysis, policy advisory, research, and capacity building. Over the course of her career, she has advised a wide range of public and private sector leaders, senior policymakers, government officials, international organizations, and other stakeholders globally, including in Africa, ASEAN, the European Union, the G20, the Indo-Pacific, MENA, North and Latin America, the OECD, UN agencies and multi-lateral development banks. Giulia currently serves as the Head of Startups and Digital Inclusion at the Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA), she is currently a member of the G20/Startup20 International Secretariat. Giulia is also a board member of United Afro Experts for Innovation (UAEFI) an organisation devoted to foster innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystems across Africa and the Caribbean.
