George Davis is a seasoned media professional with extensive experience in journalism and
broadcasting and is adept across news and sports. He worked his way up through the ranks at
Nationwide since 2005, serving in roles from Production Assistant to Managing Presenter. He now serves
as the company’s Deputy Executive Editor/Producer and is co-host of the leading news and current
affairs show on morning radio, Nationwide This Morning. George is also the Executive Producer and
Host of ‘Lead Story’, an interactive news and current affairs show aired on weekdays on CVM TV.
He worked as Executive Producer and Lead Host at SportsMax Limited for seven years, where he led
the SportsMax Zone, a weekday sports and lifestyle magazine show.
George has provided commentary and analysis of sporting events such as the FIFA World Cup, Summer
and Winter Olympics, Copa America, ISSA Schoolboy Football Competition, Jamaica Premier League
and all of the major track and field events on the local calendar.
He also served for two terms as President of the Press Association of Jamaica.
