Jonathan Gandari is the Chief Director: Government Messaging in the Ministry of Information Publicity and Broadcasting Services in Zimbabwe. He is in charge of translating the Ministry’s mandate into effective messaging programmes and media policies. From 2018 to the present, he has successfully overseen the transformation of the media environment in Zimbabwe resulting in the licensing of more media players and improved safety of journalists.
