Ivan Kotuliak is the Dean of the Faculty of Informatics and Information Technologies of the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava (FIIT STU). He is also the expert representative of the Slovak Republic for the European Blockchain Partnership at the EC, as well as the Slovak representative of the Information for All Programme of the Slovak Commission for UNESCO. He holds a PhD in Informatics from the University of Versailles, as well as from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology of the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava (FEI STU) in the field of Telecommunications. Since 2002, he worked as a Researcher, later as an Assistant Professor, and since 2019 he has been a full Professor at FIIT STU. His research interests include the areas of communication network performance, NGN network architecture, mobile and wireless networks. Recently, his research focus is mainly on Blockchain and Content Delivery Networks (CDN), where he co-authored the ETSI standard, as well as Software Defined Networks (SDNs). He is a co-author of more than 50 scientific publications, while he has also participated as a principal investigator and researcher in more than 20 international and national research projects.
