I am a lawyer by training and a poet at heart. Called to both the Jamaica and Ontario Bar, my time in practice was short and sweet, moving on to the higher calling of being a SAHM to my three children. However, the law was to shape the course of my thought process for the balance of time. It taught me to question everything..from the ridiculous to the sublime and all the grey areas in between. It led me to begin expressing myself through poetry as a means to investigate the world and its wayward ways, but also to remark upon the changing colour of the autumn leaf. I write mostly for online poetry sites and my poems have been published in several online publications.
